# PrintPatra

> PrintPatra is a browser-based newspaper page maker for small Hindi and Indian-language publishers. Users make page layouts from ready layouts, add their own stories, let AI write each story to fit its block, edit in a Designer, and download print-ready PDFs.

Devices: runs in a web browser on a laptop, desktop or iPad. There is no mobile or Android app.

What users can do:

- Make page layouts from ready layouts (free).
- Add their own stories in "Story Box"; AI writes each story to fit its "Story block".
- Use "Add story", "Replace story" and "Rewrite" (paid AI jobs).
- Use "Fit page" and the text fitting buttons (free).
- Edit pages in the "Designer", place "Ads" and set a "Masthead".
- Download print-ready PDFs and reopen past work in "My pages".

What PrintPatra does not do:

- It has no news bank or editorial bank and does not supply news.
- It does not generate a whole newspaper automatically.
- It does not run a newspaper website, manage team members or reporters, or provide newsroom desks.
- It does not verify whether a story is true or safe to publish.

Pricing facts:

- Prepaid rupee wallet: 1 point = INR 1.
- Layouts and fitting are always free.
- Each AI job is charged at its actual AI cost. An AI job needs at least INR 10 in the wallet.
- Minimum top-up is INR 100, paid through PayU. There is no signup bonus or free credit.
- Receipts are sent by email; GST invoices are not issued.
- Wallet top-ups are non-refundable except for failed or double charges.
