This policy explains what information PrintPatra collects when you use printpatra.in, how we use it and the choices you have. We collect only what we need to run the service.
01What we collect
Account details you give us when you sign up: your name, mobile number, email address, newspaper name, city and preferred language, and your password (stored only in hashed form).
Content you add: stories, images, ads, mastheads, page layouts and the pages and PDFs you make.
Wallet records: top-ups, AI job charges and your balance. Payments are handled by PayU; we receive the payment status and transaction reference, not your card, UPI or bank login details.
Basic technical information such as your browser type, IP address and error logs, used to keep the service secure and working.
02How we use it
To run your account, make and store your pages, carry out the AI jobs you ask for, keep your wallet accurate, send receipts and service emails, answer your questions, and prevent fraud and misuse.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your stories to advertise to you.
03Who we share it with
PayU, to process your top-ups.
AI providers, which receive the story text needed to carry out an AI job you started.
Hosting, storage and email providers that run the service on our behalf.
Authorities, when the law requires it.
These providers may only use your information to provide their service to us.
04Cookies
PrintPatra uses essential cookies and browser storage to keep you logged in and remember settings such as language. We do not use advertising cookies.
05How long we keep it
We keep your account information and pages while your account is open. Wallet and payment records may be kept longer where the law or our payment partner requires it. When you ask us to delete your account, we delete or anonymise the rest within a reasonable time.
06Your choices
You can ask to see, correct or delete your personal information, or close your account, by writing to support@printpatra.in from your account email address.
07Security
We use encrypted connections (HTTPS), hashed passwords and access controls to protect your information. No online service can be perfectly secure, so please use a strong password that you don’t use elsewhere.
08Changes and contact
If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top, and for significant changes we will tell you by email or in the app.
