Terms of Service

PrintPatra is a browser-based tool for making newspaper pages. You can make page layouts from ready layouts, add your own stories, have AI write those stories to fit their blocks, edit pages in the Designer, add ads and a masthead, and download print-ready PDFs.

PrintPatra works in a web browser on a laptop, desktop or iPad. It does not offer a mobile or Android app and does not support making pages on a phone.

We may improve, change or remove features over time. If a change materially affects how the wallet works, we will tell you by email or in the app before it takes effect.

You must give accurate details when you sign up, keep your password private and be responsible for what happens under your account. You must be at least 18 years old, or have the permission of a parent or guardian, to use PrintPatra.

Tell us at support@printpatra.in straight away if you think someone else has used your account.

PrintPatra is paid for through a prepaid rupee wallet. 1 point equals ₹1. Making page layouts and fitting pages (“Fit page” and the text fitting buttons) are free.

AI jobs — “Add story”, “Replace story” and “Rewrite” — are charged from your wallet at their actual AI cost. Each charge is recorded in your wallet history. An AI job needs at least ₹10 in your wallet to start.

The smallest top-up is ₹100. Top-ups are paid through our payment partner PayU, and your receipt is sent by email. PrintPatra does not issue GST invoices.

There is no signup bonus or free credit. Wallet balance is not cash, earns no interest, and cannot be transferred to another account or exchanged for money, except as set out in our Refund & Cancellation Policy.

The stories, images, ads, mastheads and other material you put into PrintPatra remain yours. You give us permission to store and process that material only as needed to run the service for you, including sending story text to AI providers to write and fit it.

You are responsible for what you publish. You must have the right to use everything you upload, and your pages must not be unlawful, defamatory, obscene, or infringe anyone else’s rights. PrintPatra does not check whether a story is true or safe to publish.

AI output can contain mistakes. Read and approve every page before you print it.

Do not misuse PrintPatra: do not try to break or overload it, get around the wallet or charges, access other people’s accounts or data, or use it to make content that is illegal in India.

We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms. Where we can, we will tell you why first.

We work to keep PrintPatra running well but cannot promise it will always be available or free of errors. It is provided “as is”.

To the extent the law allows, PrintPatra is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as a missed print deadline or lost advertising revenue. Our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid into your wallet in the three months before the claim arose.

You can stop using PrintPatra at any time, and you can ask us to close your account by writing to support@printpatra.in. Unused wallet balance is not refunded when an account is closed, except as set out in our Refund & Cancellation Policy.

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version, and continuing to use PrintPatra after a change means you accept it.

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of India.
